PMG Splits Agency to Emphasize Consulting and Retail

Hispanic marketing agency PMG, Inc. has divided the agency into two distinct divisions to boost both its consulting and retail offerings.

The first division, Dinámica Hispanic Market Consultants, is led by senior VP and partner Kim Hsieh. The division is focused on helping clients better understand and target Hispanic consumers, the company said.

The second, the PMG Retail & Entertainment division, is headed by senior VP-operations and partner Derrick Hegmon. The division specializes in conducting Hispanic marketing strategies at retail and through entertainment and event marketing.

PMG earned two 2006 PRO Awards at a ceremony held earlier this month in Chicago: Best Retail/Co-Marketing Campaign (Snuggle fabric softener) and Best Multicultural/Ethnic Campaign (Dove Body Wash), both for its Unilever U.S. Hispanic marketing campaigns.
