Charming Shoppes, Inc. has appointed Bruce J. Klatsky has been appointed to its board of directors effective May 6. Klatsky was CEO of apparel firm Phillips-Van Heusen Corp. from 1992 until 2005 and served as the Chairman of the board of directors of Phillips-Van Heusen from 1994 until 2007. After leaving Phillips-Van Heusen, Klatsky co-founded LNK Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in consumer and retail businesses.

Supermedia, an advertising agency that specializes in small- to medium-sized businesses, has tapped Sandra Crawford Williamson to serve as executive VP and CMO, effective immediately. In this role she will drive market strategy; advertising and marketing communications; customer acquisition; customer conversion and retention; customer research; analytics and database marketing; and marketing operations and processes. Williamson most recently served as founder and CEO of Crawford Consulting. She previously spent nearly six years as COO and chief global officer for True.com, an online relationship services firm.

Paul Walker is joining PulsePoint Group, a communications management consulting firm, as a third partner to lead the firm’s digital media practice.
