Onvia.com, Inc., a Seattle-based electronic business-to-business exchange service, has agreed to acquire Web site services firm Zanova Inc. for approximately $21 million in stock.
Zanova offers a suite of Web-based applications that allow small businesses to build commerce-enabled Web sites. The combination will reportedly allow Onvia to provide small businesses with powerful tools to create customized eBusinesses. More significantly, it will give small businesses immediate access to Onvia’s liquid marketplaces.
