Omnicom Group reported worldwide revenues rose 15% for third-quarter 2003 to $2 billion. U.S. revenue was up 12% for the quarter to $1.8 billion, and international revenue rose 18% to $917 million.
Its January through September revenues were up 13% to $6 billion. That includes U.S. revenues of $3.4 billion (up 8%) and international revenues of $2.7 billion (up 19%).
New York City-based Omnicom reports that net income hit $135.3 million for the quarter, up 7% from the same time period last year. Net income for the first nine months of 2003 was $455 million, up 3%. The third quarter ended Sept. 30.
