Omnicom Group Buys Into Dash.com Site

Advertising agency conglomerate Omnicom Group Inc., New York, plans to acquire a “significant minority stake” in Dash.com, an internet shopping tool developer.

Dash joins the agency’s communicade interactive division, which manages its current portfolio of interactive and new media companies.

In a separate development, Omnicom’s board of directors increased the firm’s quarterly cash dividend on its common stock, to 17.5 cents from 15 cents per share.
