Nickelodeon, New York City, has roped in $25 million in promotional support for “The Wild Thornberry’s Movie.” The Paramount Pictures-distributed, animated film opens Dec. 20. Glenview, IL-based Kraft Foods’ Macaroni & Cheese will do on-pack mentions and Minneapolis-based General Mills will promote the film through its yogurt and frozen food lines in 2,000 schools. RadioShack, Fort Worth, TX, will sell a radio-controlled car and Kentucky Fried Chicken, Louisville, KY, will run a kids meal. Coinstar, Bellevue, WA, will loop the film’s trailer on its coin-deposit machines and Detroit-based Chevrolet will back the movie through its new DVD system in Suburbans.
