The National Football League and USA Networks’ Electronic Commerce and Services have signed a three-year multi-channel marketing and programming contract.
The agreement calls for HSN to be the exclusive TV shopping network for the NFL, creating online and off-line commerce, live remote programming from NFL locations, integrated media support and local promotional event tie-ins during games. In addition, ECS’s Short Shopping will create contextual commerce programs and specials for the league.
USAi’s online properties taking part in this effort include Ticketmaster.com, HSN.com, and CitySearch.com in addition to the NFL Shop at NFL.com.
