KFC: is using its Facebook page and Twitter handle to encourage people to dress as late founder Colonel Harland Sanders to promote its Doublicious sandwich. (Get it? People will be dressed as the Colonel’s double.) Participants upload a photo of themselves to www.kfc.com/DoubliciousDouble. The contest is open to adults, children and pets. KFC has also put out the call for newscasters to participate. For those who do, KFC will donate $250,000 in the host’s or anchor’s name to the Colonel’s Scholars Program.
