BURGER KING CORP.: has teamed up with The Inventure Group, Inc. to add Onion Ring flavored snacks to its line of Burger King salted snacks. The new product joins the potato snack flavors of the company’s Ketchup & Fries and Flamed Broiled products. All three snacks are available in a variety of sizes and price points in vending machines, convenience stores, warehouse clubs, drug and grocery stores. Onion Rings are available in single serving sizes in vending machines, two-ounce bags at convenience stores and three-ounce bags in grocery stores. Larger sizes and variety packs will be available in clubs stores this fall. The companies also announced the expansion of the snack food license to international markets including Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, South America, India, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines.

FORRESTER RESEARCH: has named Dwight Griesman as its new chief marketing officer. In his new role, Griesman will drive Forrester’s brand and marketing initiatives and communicate Forrester’s offerings to IT, marketing and technology industry leaders. He joined Forrester more than three years ago to build the company’s leadership boards marketing programs. Prior to joining Forrester, he was the managing director of The Forbes Consulting Group’s Quantitative Analytics division, providing custom research and consulting services to Fortune 1000 clients.
