GENERAL MILLS TRADMARK LICENSING: has signed a deal with You and Me Legwear to create a new line off infant and toddler apparel and accessories. The line will include diaper bags, blankets, clothing items and will feature characters such as Trix Rabbit, Sonny the Cuckoo Bird, Lucky the Leprechaun, BuzzBee, the Honey nut Cherrios bee, Sprout, the Green Giant and the Pillsbury Doughboy. The new line is expected to hit retails stores this spring.
NAKAJIMA USA: and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, have signed a license agreement to design and market a collection of fashion accessories for tweens and teens. The new collection, which will launch for the 2005 holiday season, will include Sesame Street characters Elmo, Cookie Monster, The Count and Oscar the Grouch. Products will retail between $4 and $40. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Sesame Workshop’s educational projects for children.
