Packages bow nationally in two to three weeks. Meanwhile, Minneapolis-based General Mills has awarded $500,000 in Champions for Healthy Kids grants to 50 community programs nationally to fund nutrition and fitness programs for kids. The on-going grant program is a collaboration between the General Mills Foundation, the American Dietetic Association Foundation and the President’s Challenge.
CHRYSLER: announced that it may reinstate its employee-discount pricing program next month in the face of rising inventory. Introduced by several automakers last summer (P&I Oct. 26, 2005), the discount programs drew wide criticism from analysts for their impact on manufacturers’ profitability.
