DUNKIN’ DONUTS: and JetBlue Airways have teamed up in a new sweepstakes dangling free airline seats to consumers who register their Dunkin’ Donuts loyalty cards online. Consumers who register their cards at DunkinDonuts.com will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win one round-trip coach ticket on JetBlue to any city JetBlue flies. Ten winners will be selected every day through Aug. 26. Online materials and P-O-P support.

CHRYSLER GROUP: has extended through August its Employee Pricing Plus promotion originally slated to run only in July, according to news reports. Last month, the automaker said it planned to spend $100 million on the marketing initiative, coupled with “Ask Dr. Z” ads featuring Chairman Dieter Zetsche (PROMO Xtra, July 5, 2006). On Tuesday, the Auburn Hills-MI automaker reported that its U.S. sales for July stood at 150,349 units, a 35% drop compared to record July sales of 240,146 units last year.

AMP AGENCY: New York, has hired Kevin Jones as VP-urban & multicultural marketing, and Kenny Burns as consultant and lifestyle specialist, both new posts in AMP’s Urban & Multicultural division. Jones oversees strategic development and execution for the division and manages its account services team; he had been director of client services at U.S. Concepts and launched its Urban Concepts division. Burns will consult on multicultural campaigns and branding initiatives; the music-industry veteran had been VP of Roc-A-Fella Records/Roc Music. Both have already joined the agency.

EUROPEAN SOCCER CLUBS: FC Barcelona, Juventus FC, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have appointed Warner Bros. Consumer Products as the clubs’ Master Licensee for the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America. The deal grants Warner Bros. the rights to license, manufacture, distribute, promote and sell club-branded merchandise throughout the Americas. The licensing program will include leisure apparel and accessories, toys and games, housewares and domestics, stationery, gifts and collectible items. Financial terms were not disclosed. These items will be available in select retail stores beginning in December.
