GENERAL MOTORS: has extended its sponsorship deal with Simon Property Group, adding a second upscale mall and two GM brands, Saab and Hummer, to the year-old partnership that began with Cadillac. All three GM brands become “official vehicles” of Town Center at Boca Raton, with in-mall displays of the three vehicles; invitation-only events at the mall, executed by GM and hosted by Town Center retailers; and free valet parking for shoppers driving a Cadillac, Saab or Hummer. (Valet attendants will wear GM-branded uniforms; the valet service, open to all mall shoppers, will be renamed the Cadillac/Hummer/Saab Valet.) Indianapolis-based Simon also has renewed its year-old deal with Cadillac as the “official vehicle” of Phipps Plaza in Atlanta.

MGA ENTERTAINMENT, INC.: has entered into a purchasing agreement for the Little Tikes business, widely known for its plastic truck and infant toys, from Newell Rubbermaid Inc., Atlanta. The purchase will introduce Van Nuys, CA-based MGA, the manufacturer of Bratz dolls and Alien Racers, to a new product category for young children. The transaction was expected to close in the fourth quarter. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
