New Experian Service IDs Consumers Without Credit

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Experian has launched a service for finding debit information on consumers with little or no credit history.

The Cross Review Report, the result of a collaboration between Experian and eFunds, will provide banks and other credit issuers with access to nationwide debit and credit databases. Data will come from Experian’s own databases, and from eFunds’ DebitBureau, which contains more than 3 million records of checking and savings account opening and closing information, collection data, and overdraft histories.

Credit issuers will also receive a Cross View Score, a debit-based model.

Experian claims the real-time service will help banks serve consumers in “under-served segments of the population.”
