New Analytics Platform Takes Broad View of Customer Contact

Marketing solutions provider Coremetrics today announced the release of Coremetrics 2007, an online analytics and marketing suite of tools that will let marketers value the relative influence of multiple touchpoints.

The application suite will launch later this spring, the company said.

With the new tool set, marketers can simultaneously track the multiple ways they contact consumers — e-mail, blogs, online ads, natural search listings and paid search ads — to allocate their investment across channels.

Coremetrics 2007 will also give marketers the ability to measure “intra-page” activity such as visitor use of features built with Flash, AJAX-based pop-ups and slider bars.

“Consumers are now taking a much more active role in shaping their own online experience, creating and sharing their own content, and engaging in long-term relationships with companies through resources such as RSS feeds and blogs,” said John Squire, Coremetrics senior vice president of product strategy. “The challenge we’re addressing is how to take all of these new marketing influences and work out which element plays the biggest role in the conversion cycle.”

The new offering is built on the Coremetrics LIVE Profile platform, which records all visitor behavior and cross-session activity.
