New Acquisition Service and VP For Winterberry Group

Winterberry Group, New York has formed a new unit, Acquisition Strategy Services, and has named Richard McMahon as vice president. The unit is part of the company’s Strategic Consulting Services group.

While the company previously offered buy-side mergers and acquisition strategy services, CEO Michael Petsky said the unit was formed following increased client demand from direct marketers and e-commerce companies for those services.

The new unit will help clients design acquisition strategies, identify and contact target acquisition candidates, and facilitate the closing of acquisitions.

Previously, McMahon worked for 20 years for Sequa Corp., New York, a $2 billion publicly-held diversified manufacturing company, where he was director of corporate business development for 18 years. His responsibilities included acquisition strategies, strategic planning, market research and business development.
