PostMasterDirect.com, a service of New York-based NetCreations, will become the manager of three Internet.com files totaling half a million e-mail addresses.
The names are from Internet.com Web sites on which people register by a double-opt-in process to receive offers from third parties. They visit sites for information and news in their fields.
The ClickZ master file contains 18,174 addresses. Registrants on this site are media buyers and planners, Web and e-mail advertising professionals, list vendors and agencies.
The 51,008 New Media.com registrants work in business and government, and are involved in animation, audio, graphic design, education and electronic publishing.
Some 106,587 IT professionals are on the EarthWeb master file. These high-tech workers are employed at all levels up to CEO and click to EarthWeb.com for a mix of peer-to-peer, editorial and vendor-specific content.
Selections include job, age, gender and state/SCF/ZIP. The files are priced at $350/M.
The Lake Group was the previous manager. PostMasterDirect will take over full management of the files in mid-February.
