A new campaign from Nautilus Inc. is geared at getting Americans to increase their physical activity and lose weight. Nautilus’s exercise equipment, which includes the Nautilus fitness machines, Bowflex, StairMaster and Schwinn lines, are central to the campaign.
In two 60-second commercials, Gregg Hammann, chairman and CEO of Nautilus, touts his mission to “get America moving,” and urges viewers to contact the company and ask for a 52-page catalog that features educational tips as well as more than 150 pieces of fitness equipment, apparel and nutrition items. A company spokesman said the campaign would run nationally, but did not offer any further details about spot placement.
The campaign marks the first time Nautilus has invited consumers to ask for a catalog. The response mechanisms include both an 800 number and a Web site.
