Momentum North America has “eliminated the positions” of CEO, Mark Shapiro and CFO Jerry Best, both of whom worked from the St. Louis office.
“It’s a restructuring to give the heads of the offices who are in close contact with clients greater responsibility,” said Susan Irwin, a spokesperson for McCann-Erickson. Momentum is a McCann-Erickson WorldGroup company.
The cuts took place May 2.
Momentum has offices in Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Milwaukee, New York City, San Francisco and St. Louis.
