Merkle, a database marketing agency, has purchased e-mail marketing agency Quris Inc of Denver. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The acquisition is the second the Lanham, MD-based firm has made during fourth-quarter 2005. In October, it acquired The Domain Group, a non-profit marketing agency based in Seattle.
Quris, which was founded in 1999, has offices in San Francisco and Dallas, all of which will continue to operate in their current locations. The company employs 50 individuals. Quris itself will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Merkle.
