Martin D. Levine, 56, founder and CEO of MarketSource Corp., died Oct. 7 at the Medical Center at Princeton, NJ. He fought a two-year battle with brain cancer, PROMO Xtra has learned.

In 1974, Levine founded MarketSource, a diversified marketing services company specializing in sales and marketing solution,s and built the firm into a $150 million company. MarketSource won a 1993 PROMO Pinnacle Award for Marketing Relevance.
"Perhaps the greatest tribute was that he was not just a leader but also a team player," Anthony Fiore, executive VP of MarketSource said. "He was heavily involved in most of the company's significant sales."
Cranbury, NJ-based MarketSource was instrumental in helping large corporations market to college students nationwide through a variety of services such as on-campus product sampling, media, events and promotions, Fiore said.
Levine is survived by his wife Monica Bean Levine; son Jonathan Levine; daughter Lauren Levine; and step-children Taylor and Kelly Langone.
