Mars Advertising has been hired by HIT Entertainment to develop promotions within the consumer packaged goods market for HIT’s children’s properties.
The properties include, Barney, Thomas & Friends, Bob The Builder, Rainbow Magic, Angelina Ballerina, Shawn the Sheep and Fifi and the Flowertots, among others. The campaigns will be targeted to parents and caregivers of preschoolers and teens and tweens.
“This is the first time HIT has made a consertive effort to focus on the consumer packaged goods arena,” Roney said.
Michele Roney, senior vice president of equity marketing at MARS will lead the account team overseeing the work.
MARS, headquartered in Southfield, MI, has offices in New York, Bentonville, AR, and Oakland, CA.
