The five pop princesses of the new girl group Gemz will be donning Finger Lites Light-Up Candy rings during performances in a sponsorship deal with Malibu Toys.
The tween-age group, whose first album debuted in June, will be performing at malls, camps and record stores across the country, with rings handed out at every venue. Signage touts the light-up rings and future printings of the group’s debut album will include stickers of the rings.
The girls were discovered about two years ago when performing in a Coral Gables, FL, theater as Von Trapp children in The Sound of Music. They are: Samantha Aberman, 13, Sarah Crane, 12, Karina and Natali Padura, 10 and 14, and Sammi-Jack Martincak, 9.
