Mail-Well Inc. reported a net loss of $16.5 million for the first quarter, down from net income of $2.7 million last year.
The direct mail services firm reported sales of $424 million for the quarter ended March 31, down from sales of $427 million last year.
The Englewood, CO company attributed this loss to a $17.7 million charge for debt.
