Norm Sturm, former head of Unimail’s Chicago office, died last week at age 70 after a lengthy illness.
Sturm, who was a vice president with Unimail, was with the company for 20 years, from 1980 to 2000. He ran his own circulation/direct marketing consulting firm for publishers, NBS Marketing, until his recent retirement.
During his long career, he served as a vice president with Cahners Publishing, World of Beauty Club and National Business Lists. He was also an adjunct professor with Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
He lived in Glenview, IL, and is survived by his wife Lorry and two children, Barry and Lisa.
