Software marketing solutions company LivePerson, is introducing a technology to help businesses track their search engine traffic.
Live Keyword allows marketers that use pay-per-click search engines to see an alert window that displays how each lead reached their site. The marketer sees a window that displays the keyword the potential customer used and what search engine they came from. Then, the marketer can contact that customer to move the transaction forward.
“LivePerson enables marketers to really leverage the advertising spending on pay-per-click search engines,” said Philippe Lang, vice president of online marketing at the New York firm. “Here you can actually proactively invite them to chat with you and close the sale.”
