Live from L.A.: DMA Names Copywriter’s Challenge Winners

Copywriters from Business Week and Draft Worldwide were named the winners of H. Robert Wientzen’s “copywriter’s challenge” to come up with innovative privacy notices that bolster consumer trust, at the DMA’s third annual net.marketing conference in Los Angeles.

Wientzen, president and CEO of the Direct Marketing Association, announced the challenge during the DMA annual conference in San Francisco last October. In the online category, he named David Smith, Business Week magazine and online general manager. Keith Klamer, senior copywriter, Draft Worldwide, took offline honors for the “We Won’t Disturb You” print campaign.

The net.marketing conference concludes today.
