This will be the last year the Annual Catalog Conference and Direct Marketing Days New York will be held at the same time, according to H. Robert Wientzen, the Direct Marketing Association’s president and CEO.
During a brief welcome, Wientzen said that he was delighted that the DMA acquired DMDNY, and that his decision to avoid scheduling conflicts going forward was made partly on behalf of the industry and partly because “I don’t want to do the red-eye more than necessary.”
Wientzen delivered a welcome to catalog conference attendees Monday morning in San Francisco.
