Live from DCI: Palm CEO Tells Marketers to Take a Walk

Nearly three in four organizations are going to increase their spending on customer relationship management (CRM) 25% to 50% in the year to come. Furthermore, 75% of “knowledge workers,” staff members such as sales and service personnel who use customer information, are going to be on the road at least 25% of the time.

These figures were presented by Carl Yankowski, Palm Inc.’s chief executive officer during “Handheld Computing: Bold New Platform for 24×7 Competitive Advantage,” his keynote address Wednesday afternoon at the DCI Customer Relationship Management Conference & Exposition.
