Susan Bratton, CEO of social networking firm Cendara and long-time ad:tech Conference executive chairwoman, kicked off the two-day session of ad:tech Chicago 2006 by introducing her successor in the conference’s programming leadership post: Drew Ianni, head of the Sheridan Square Partners freelance creative group.
Ianni began amassing his interactive advertising experience at CKS Partners in 1995 and has since then worked as an online ad analyst for Jupiter Research, as an equity analyst for Lazard Freres, and as CEO of BBDO North American’s @tmosphere subsidiary.
“Drew and I have been friends and colleagues for years, and I’m proud to announce him as my successor,” Bratton said in opening the conference Monday morning. “I am excited to see him continue to grow ad:tech as a premium brand.”
Bratton will become ad:tech chair emeritus and will serve on the conference advisory board.
