VP Media Enters List Business
VP Media Inc., a new list management and brokerage firm has opened in Charlotte, NC. Data cards have been released at vpmedia.com for lists of new movers, new homeowners, cell phone product buyers and Internet car loan applicants.

VP Media is at first sourcing wholesale data and offering it as a private label list reseller, which is how many list firms got started.

Founder and president Peter Bertorelli did insert media work for Doyle Publishing and Direct Media Inc. many years ago. He had been doing cell phone marketing work for the last seven years.

People in the News
Heather Maylander joined Lake Group Media Inc. on Tuesday as managing director of list brokerage. Maylander has extensive experienced in catalog, retail, publishing and nonprofit fundraising markets. She was formerly executive vice president of list brokerage at American List Counsel Inc., where she had worked for 21 years.

Scott Walker has been appointed executive vice president for the Teramedia Division of V12 Group. Walker’s responsibilities will include expanding Teramedia’s sales force and relationships with clients and partners. Walker has 14 years of experience in direct marketing. He was most recently with Acxiom Corp.
