Gardens Alive Co-op
SMD Media Services Inc. has been appointed manager of the Gardens Alive co-op program. Mailing plans for 2007 have yet to be finalized, but Gardens Alive expects 150,000 to 750,000 co-op packages will go out. Inserts can be up to 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches. Inquiries for inserts heavier than a quarter ounce will be considered. ALC Data Management had been handling this co-op program. ALC continues to manage other insert media programs for Gardens Alive.

Harry and David
Nine list source category selections are now offered on Harry and David’s corporate master file, among them apparel, electronics, food and horticulture. “This is a unique opportunity to target the actual mail order source category of the name, which normally is available only through co-op databases,” said Bruce Kimmel, vice president of data management, in a statement. Altogether more than 3.2 million names can be rented from both Harry and David and Jackson & Perkins.
