Lillian Vernon will soon add newspaper columnist to her long list of accomplishments.

The catalog legend will write a national column for Scripps Howard News Service. The weekly column, Lillian’s Business, will appear on Friday’s and cover such topics as how to manage vendor relationships, business etiquette and the ABCs of starting a business.

“This column will allow me to share my experiences with the millions of entrepreneurs as well as executives from small and big businesses across the country,” said Vernon, founder of Lillian Vernon Corp., in a statement. “From the initial start-up phase to the challenges of running a multi-million dollar corporation, my column will offer useful business advice.”
