Apparel cataloger Lillian Vernon Corp., Rye, NY, reported a net loss of $3.9 million for the quarter ended May 26, an increase over $2.1 million for the same period last year.
Revenues decreased 5.4% to $39.7 million from $42 million last year. The firm attributed this performance to “the continued slowing of the economy and decreased consumer spending which reduced response to the company’s catalogs.”
