Reading and writing cataloger Levenger will open a retail shop in Marshall Field’s flagship store in Chicago in September.
The 2300-square-foot store will be Levenger’s only brick-and-mortar location beyond the company’s Delray Beach, FL headquarter store. Levenger offers items such as small leather goods and briefcases, custom reading tools and mobile furniture. The company mails about 26 million catalogs annually.
Marshall Field’s plans to open other such boutiques at its flagship State Street store throughout 2003.
