LeadDog Marketing Group has hired Bill Schoonmaker to oversee its sports and sponsorship business.
Schoonmaker takes the new post of vice president-client partnerships at the New York agency. He had been vice president-management director at 361° Sports + Event Marketing, also New York.
Schoonmaker has spent almost 20 years negotiating, managing and activating marketing partnerships in Olympic, professional and collegiate sports, and for entertainment, art, non-profit and fashion properties. His resume includes stints at WPP-owned PRISM, a sports marketing and event agency, The Swatch Group and Olympus America.
LeadDog ranked No. 48 in the 2006 PROMO 100 with nearly $3.3 million in 2005 net revenues, up 334% from 2003.
