Koch Execs Take Posts at Georgia-Pacific

A handful of Koch Industries execs are moving to Georgia-Pacific, now that Koch finalized its acquisition of the paper-goods giant.

More than a dozen Koch employees are joining Georgia-Pacific. Koch President-CEO Joe Moeller shifts to the president-CEO post at Georgia-Pacific. Dave Robertson replaces him at the helm of Koch.

Koch Executive VP-operations Bill Caffey moves to Georgia-Pacific as executive VP and a member of its board. Jim Mahoney assumes Caffey’s responsibilities at Koch as VP-operations; he had been executive VP-operations for Flint Hills Resources.

Koch co-general counsel colleague Tye Darland becomes Georgia-Pacific’s general counsel; Darland’s co-general counsel colleague, Mark Holden, is promoted to senior VP-general counsel at Koch.

Wichita, KS-based Koch finalized its $21 billion purchase of Atlanta-based Georgia-Pacific on Dec. 23 (Nov. 15 Xtra). Georgia-Pacific is now part of privately held Koch’s operations in its Koch Forest Products division.
