Jupiter Media Metrix Requests Delisting Hearing

Jupiter Media Metrix, Inc. has requested a hearing to appeal its potential delisting from the Nasdaq National Market. Jupiter had been notified on June 27 that it had not maintained the minimum bid price required for listing.

Jupiter’s listing status will not change until a final determination has been issued by the panel following a hearing by the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel, according to a company statement.

While the company did not announce a date for the hearing, Nasdaq is required to grant the hearing within 45 days of the request. Jupiter is in the process of liquidating its business, and has already sold several of its operating units.

Jupiter is an online advertising measurement and research firm based in New York City.
