In a push to generate awareness for its TV games line debuting this spring, Jakks Pacific has partnered with Snapple and Sony Music’s Lil’ Flip for two promotions.
Starting in May, 225 million specially marked promotional Snapple bottles direct consumers to save their caps and look for weekly drawings, which begin mid-May. The Atari TV Games will be featured as one of the prizes and 1,000 will be given away during the promotion. Also in May, www.snapple.com will feature information about the drawings and prizes.
TV, print, radio and online support.
Namco TV Games will tie-in with the launch of the new album from Sony Music artist, Lil’ Flip. His debut single, Game Over, samples music from the original Pac-Man game, featured on Namco TV Games. The promotion targets urban radio markets across the country with promo spots tagging the Namco TV Games each time the song is played. There will be 20 Namco TV Games giveaways in each of the 20 markets.
Jakks Pacific TV Games is a line of plug-and-play gaming units that contain multiple videogames in just one controller. TV Games can be plugged into any standard television set with no videogame consoles or gaming cartridges.
