Jack Morton Promotes Montero to Director of LA Office

Experiential marketing agency Jack Morton Worldwide has promoted Luis Montero to vice president and managing director of the Los Angles office.

Since 2005, Montero had been director of Jack Morton Latino, a specialized area, which he established to create live experiences for Latino audiences. He will continue in this role in addition to his new responsibilities.

Montero has won and overseen campaign work for such clients as Alltel Wireless, Latina Magazine, McDonald’s, Target, and Johnson & Johnson.

Prior to joining Jack Morton as a U.S. business strategist in New York in 2004, Luis worked as a strategy consultant for Grey Advertising in New York. He has also worked as an industrial engineer for The Walt Disney World Co. and as a strategy consultant for The Coca-Cola Co., working across Latin America and Europe. Montero was born in Spain and raised in Atlanta.

In addition, the agency has hired Julien Le Bas as creative practice leader for the Los Angeles office. For the last six years, Julien has worked in creative leadership roles at George P. Johnson in Sydney and Los Angles. His clients included automotive companies such as Honda, Acura, Jeep, Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti and General Motors, as well as major consumer electronics brands like Sony.

Jack Morton Worldwide ranked No. 11 on the 2008 Promo 100 with revenue of $128 million.
