interCLICK Expands East Coast Sales Operations

NEW YORK, Dec 13, 2007– Jay Freedman has been appointed Vice President of Brand Sales at interCLICK (http://www.interclick.com), one of the nation’s largest Internet advertising networks, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Customer Acquisition Network, Inc. The appointment further strengthens the company’s East Coast sales operations and media buying teams and follows the recent hires of Josh Cohen, formerly of Blue Lithium; Curtiss Melanson, formerly of Undertone Networks; Marc Hirsch, formerly of Mediamax Network; Brendan Delaney, formerly of Valueclick Media; and Rita Kiryakos, formerly of AzoogleAds.

As VP of Brand Sales, Freedman will help to grow interCLICK’s presence within the large community of Agencies within New York City and beyond, accelerating the company’s industry-wide growth and recognition. Freedman brings extensive experience in the online advertising industry to this position and will oversee all aspects of interCLICK’s brand marketing strategy.

Previously, Freedman was East Cost Sales Manager for Specific Media, managing the company’s new accounts and expanding the existing client roster. Freedman started as an account executive in 2005 and was quickly promoted to senior account executive. In the beginning of 2007, he was named the youngest Sales Manager in the company. Prior to Specific Media, Freedman was senior account executive at Quigo Technologies, Inc., leading sales efforts for the company’s Ad Sonar platform, solely responsible for two major vertical markets, automotive and sports. A resident of Manhattan, he holds a BA from Lafayette College in Business & Economics.
