InfoUSA, the Omaha, NE-based information provider, said that its first-quarter revenue would be at least $73 million, compared to the $70.4 million the company realized in fourth-quarter 2000. InfoUSA also said that its EBITDA would be more than $25 million, compared with the $9.3 million it saw during the previous quarter, largely due to cost cutting measures.
“In light of current economic conditions we are very pleased with the strength in revenues and EBITDA that we experienced during the first quarter. We believe this underscores the heightened quality of our customer service and increased productivity of our sales force. It also validates the wisdom of our cost cutting measures over the past two quarters,” said Stormy Dean, infoUSA’s chief financial officer, in a statement.
InfoUSA will release its first quarter earnings on Monday, April 16.
