InfoUSA posted revenue of $344.9 million for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2004, up 11% from the $311.3 million reported in 2003.
Net sales for the fourth quarter were $90.1 million, versus $79.1 million during the same period the previous year.
“We were able to grow our revenues through strong organic results in most of our key revenue divisions as well as successful integration of our recent acquisitions,” said Vin Gupta, chairman and CEO, in a statement. “We were very satisfied with our fiscal 2004 performance.”
The company has several database enhancement initiatives planned for 2005, added Gupta, including enhancing the Business Credit Report by suggesting the recommended credit limit on 13 million businesses. By March, infoUSA also plans to publish a report on Yellow Page Ad Spending by Small Businesses.
The company’s Donnelley Group reported fourth quarter 2004 revenues of $57.0 million, up 38% from the comparable quarter of 2003, and full year 2004 revenues of $200.3 million, up 28% from the previous year. Much of the growth was due to the recent acquisition of Triplex, OneSource, and Edith Roman.
The infoUSA Group – which consists of approximately 20 small business units that offer directory products, vertical databases, online sales leads, custom sales leads and products for sales people and SOHO markets — reported 2004 fourth quarter revenues of $33.1 million, compared to $37.6 million in the fourth quarter of last year. According to the company, the primary reason for the decline was the impact from subscription accounting during the fourth quarter of approximately $3.7 million. For fiscal year 2004, this group had revenue of $144.5 million, versus $155.4 million last year.
