Congress is investigating the Internet domain name company, Internet Corp. for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) after critics said it was too slow to address security holes.
In testimony before the Senate Commerce subcommittee on science and technology on Wednesday, the General Accounting Office charged that the Commerce Department is not vigilant enough at overseeing the company. No details of meetings between ICANN and Commerce are available and Commerce
