Hyundai Motor American has selected LatinWorks as its national Hispanic marketing and advertising agency of record.
The agency will start work immediately for Hyundai. The first campaign is expected to appear soon on the Internet and in broadcast and print media, the company said.
LatinWorks got the nod after participating in presentations with four other agencies contending for the business: Acento Advertising, Winglastino, Dieste Harmel & Partners and Grupo Gallegos.
“Hyundai understands the importance of the Hispanic market and with the addition of LatinWorks as our marketing partner, we are strengthening our commitment to this community,” said Joel Ewanick, HMA’s vice president of marketing, in a statement. “We believe that their strategic understanding and proven creative abilities will move Hyundai’s relationship with the Hispanic community further.”
LatinWorks is owned by Omnicom Group Inc., which also has it own advertising agency GSD&M.
