To keep its services front of mind as the deadline for filing taxes approaches, H&R Block has teamed with CBS for a new promotion.
The Just Plain Funny promotion, playing off of Block’s Just Plain Smart tagline, will run every Monday night throughout March. Viewers of CBS’ prime-time comedies who log on to cbs.com/funny and identify the Just Plain Funny weekly clip, are entered into a drawing for a $10,000 prize. Beginning this week, one prize will be awarded per week for four weeks.
Advertising for the sweeps and H&R Block’s Double Check Challenge service will air during “The King of Queens,” “Yes, Dear,” “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “Still Standing.” An ad in “USA Today” and activity at www.cbs.com-where (http://www.cbs.com-where ) the winners will be announced on April 15-supports.
