Hilton, MyPoints.com Promote Online Incentives

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

MyPoints.com Inc., a provider of Internet direct marketing and loyalty rewards program, and Hilton HHonors, a Hilton Hotel frequent-guest rewards program, have teamed up to offer e-commerce incentives to consumers.

MyPoints rewards consumers who have agreed to read and respond to targeted marketing messages via e-mail and on the Web with points in the MyPoints program. The relationship with Hilton will provide the MyPoints.com roster of 150 marketers with a new consumer incentive–points in the Hilton HHonors program–which members can redeem for rewards and free nights at more than 425 participating Hilton and Conrad International hotels around the world.

In addition, members can exchange HHonors points for airline miles starting in June–with Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, LanChile, LatinPass, Mexicana Airlines, Midwest Express Airlines and other airlines.

For members of the MyPoints program to be eligible to earn HHonors points, they either will need to be a current HHonors member or enroll in the HHonors program at the time of redemption on the MyPoints Web site.

Primedia Ventures, the venture capital arm of publishing and media company Primedia Inc., which owns DIRECT, is an investor in MyPoints.com Inc.
