Hello Direct, Inc., a San Jose, CA, direct marketer of telephone productivity tools, has appointed Michael Young as vice president, chief information officer. Young has served as a consulting CIO with the company for nearly a year, developing a strategic information systems plan.
“Michael has already had a profound impact at Hello Direct,” said Alec Glover, president and CEO. “Going forward, he will be focusing increasingly on development of systems that support accelerated growth in our Internet channel, which is already approaching 10% of our total quarterly net revenue and growing at a rapid rate.”
In his prior positions, Young has coordinated strategic business objectives and information technology plans at Colgate-Palmolive and Kransco Group Companies. Most recently, he was chief operating officer of Odwalla.
