Harte-Hanks Inc. reported revenue for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2003 of $255.7 million, compared to $239.5 million for the same period in 2002.
Income for the quarter was $41.6 million, a 3% increase over the $40.2 million reported for the fourth quarter of last year.
For the year, revenue was $944.6 million, a 3.9% increase over the $908.8 million posted for fiscal 2002. Operating income was $146.5 million, a 2.5% decrease from the $150.2 million reported the previous year.
Direct marketing revenue grew for the year grew 1.9% to $584.8 million from $573.8 million in 2002. For the quarter, DM revenue was up 1.9% to$160.3 million from $154.4 million.
Direct marketing operating income was $76.6 million for the year, an 8.6% decrease from the $83.7 million posted in 2002. For the quarter, income was down 1.8% to $23.2 million, versus the $23.7 million reported in the previous fourth quarter.
