Harte-Hanks Inc. has acquired Postfuture Inc., an e-mail services company based in Richardson, TX for undisclosed financial terms.
Postfuture’s automated e-mail delivery technology will be integrated in Harte-Hanks consumer and business-to-business marketing products and services offered to clients.
Applications for the technology include linking centrally managed customer databases with locally managed marketing programs. It automates transaction or event-triggered delivery of e-mail and features secure print-at-home applications for distribution of e-mail incentive offers.
“We felt the timing was right to deepen our core competencies in the e-mail space, said Richard Hochhauser, Harte-Hanks’ president and CEO in a prepared statement.
